IESA CLASS 2A SECTIONAL D The SCJH XC teams took advantage out the cool weather Saturday morning October 7 during the IESA Class 2A Sectional D which was held at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe. The team qualified 2 for the IESA State XC Championships next Saturday and set 10 new PB times. The Girls race got the Sectional going. Norah Rorem running a new PB time of 12:59 finished 9th overall to advance as an individual for the State meet. Darilis Knobloch (13:38 - 18th) just missed qualifying as an individual by 4 seconds. Other scorers for the Girls were Kaylee Goerks (16:22 PB - 62nd), Cloie Jones (16:56 PB - 68th) and Brailynn Galli (20:20 PB - 86th). Also running for the Girls was Natalie Dyken (20:22 PB - 87th). The Girls team finished 10th out of 12 full Girls teams. SCJH XC runner Evan Knobloch won the Boys race in a time of 10:55 to advance to the State meet as an individual. Other scorers for the Boys were Will Denton (12:34 PB - 22nd), Jackson Smith (12:46 PB - 27th), Hunter Ely (13:08 - 33rd) and Aidan Grinnell (15:03 PB - 61st). Also running for the Boys were Edward Bickett (15:40 PB - 65th) and Levi Sparks (15:47 PB - 70th). The Boys team finished 5th out of 12 full Boys teams. There was 90 finishers in the Girls race and 85 in the Boys race. IESA Class 2A Sectional D Results
